More than 100,000 tons of food were sent from the ports of Great Odesa

Today, October 25, four more vessels departed from the ports of Odesa and Pivdennyi as part of the “grain agreement”.

In total, ships transport 107.2 thousand tons of agricultural products to European countries, the Ministry of Infrastructure reports.

In particular, the bulk carrier Regius left the Odesa port, and Captain J. Neofotistos, Sanin 1 and Zumrut Ana left the South port.

Since the departure of the first ship with food, Ukraine has exported 8.9 million tons of agricultural products through the “grain corridor”. A total of 390 ships with food for the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa left Ukrainian ports.

Meanwhile, in the Sea of Marmara there is a a large traffic jam with the ships . The crowding occurred as a result of the delay of vessels with Ukrainian grain. More than 100 ships are idle in the Sea of Marmara, and almost fifty more are awaiting inspection in the Black Sea.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is sure that the actions of russian federation led to the traffic jams from ships near Istanbul. Delays in the inspections of grain initiative vessels are politically motivated, the ministry believes. Thus, the russian leadership has repeatedly tried without legal grounds to question the “grain corridor”, demanding new benefits for agreeing to extend the agreement.
