More than 5,000 sailors received the documents to leave Ukraine

The Shipping Administration continues to issue seafarers with documents that allow them to cross the border to go to work.

More than 5,000 Ukrainian sailors have already received documents for departure, the Shipping Administration reports.

In total, almost 10,000 users are registered in the system. In full, this document is called “Confirmation of receipt of the copies of educational and qualification documents”.

It is precisely this document that sailors must provide to border guards and to territorial recruitment centers or military commissars in the future.

The document is valid for only 30 days. The problem is that now in the centers of assembly and training, the seamen still did not received the necessary permits for departure. Most likely, if the situation does not change in the near future, the documents from the Shipping Administration will have to be renewed.

As previously reported by USM, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not yet developed a clear procedure for issuing a permission to the seamen to leave leave their place of residence, i.e. obtaining military registration documents.
