Most of the Russian attacks on Odesa’s port infrastructure in June-July were carried out by “Banderol”

In June-July, Russian troops carried out 16 strikes on the food and port infrastructure of Odesa, about 80% of them with Banderol cruise missiles.

This was reported by the presidential commissioner for sanctions policy Vladyslav Vlasyuk, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, the attacks damaged the infrastructure of the Odesa Sea Trade Port, the Pivdennyi port, as well as the terminals of the companies Oilexportterminal and Transgrainterminal.

Vlasyuk noted that the warhead of the Banderol missile is about 150 kg. Russia continues to mass-produce these missiles thanks to access to foreign components, in particular parts of the 2025-2026 production years.

Nine components from the United States, four from China, two each from Japan, Switzerland and South Korea, as well as one component from Australia were found in the samples of missiles manufactured in 2025.

At the same time, the missiles with which the Russian Federation is currently attacking Odesa were manufactured in 2026 and differ from previous models. Their composition is currently being studied.
