Neizhpapa met with the delegation of the Kingdom of Norway
The Commander of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Neizhpapa met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway Espen Bart Eide.
This was announced on the Facebook page of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
As part of the official visit, a meeting of the delegation of the Kingdom of Norway led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Bart Eide and representatives of the UN World Food Program (WFP) was held, which was attended by the Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vice Admiral Oleksii Neizhpapa and representatives of local authorities.
The delegation got acquainted with the functioning of the “grain corridor” in the Black Sea.
During the meeting, they discussed the current security situation in the Black Sea region, in particular the issue of mine danger in the Black Sea caused by Russian aggression.
Mr. Espen Bart Eide was introduced to some aspects of the activities of the national fleet during the defense of Ukraine.
Those present discussed the issue of support for Norwegian partners and heard objective information about the situation in Ukraine against the background of Russian aggression.
As previously reported by USM, Norway will help the Armed Forces Navy to strengthen its combat capability in the Black Sea.
