Neizhpapa: since July, the enemy has used more than 880 drones in the ports of Odesa region


Since July 2023, the Russians have used more than 880 kamikaze drones and more than 170 missiles against the port infrastructure of Odesa region.

This was stated by the Commander of the Naval Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Neizhpapa during the visit of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the port of Odesa.

According to the vice admiral, since July 2023, the enemy has used more than 880 kamikaze drones and more than 170 missiles against the port infrastructure of Odesa.

He also emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine forced Russian ships to leave the northwestern part of the sea. In addition, thanks to the actions of the Air Force, since December 2023, the aggressor has suspended remote mining of the approach channels to Ukrainian ports from aircraft.

“Currently, we have two caravans for entry and exit during the day. For example, today it will be 22 ships. We had a maximum of 47 ships, and we started with three to five,” noted the commander of the Navy Oleksiy Neizhpapa.

We will remind, on March 6, the Rashists launched a missile from the Crimea at the Odesa seaport. At that time, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis were at the facility.

According to the media, the rocket exploded just 500 meters from the politicians. Currently, five people are known to have died as a result of the enemy attack.
