“Nibulon” exported record volumes of grain since the beginning of the war

Nibulon exported record volumes of grain in April since the start of the full-scale invasion.

The result of April is 434,000 tons of overloaded grain (corn and wheat), Nibulon reported.

The company noted that this was the best figure since the start of the full-scale invasion, and that exports were close to pre-war levels.

“Nibulon” is regaining its market share due to the development of alternative channels through the Danube ports and the effective use of the opportunities of the ports of Great Odesa.

Thus, in 9 months of 2023/24, MR “Nibulon” exported 2.4 million tons of agricultural products, despite the blocking of Ukrainian Black Sea ports at the beginning of the marketing year.

Expected annual export volumes in 2023/24 MR – 3.2-3.4 million tons. The current share of the company through the Danube ports in the 1st quarter of 2024 was in the range of 20-30%.

“Currently, the work of the logistics infrastructure of “Nibulon” is divided between two channels. After the operation of the Black Sea ports was restored thanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a significant part of the volume of grain that we exported through the “river” was reoriented to the “high water”. At the same time, the Danube continues to play a key role for our exports – the share of this channel in the structure of sales is 70%,” said Nibulon trade director Volodymyr Slavinskyi.
