“Nibulon” plans to build a new elevator and mill at its “Bessarabska” branch

Agricultural company “Nibulon” talked about its plans to modernize the logistics infrastructure of the Bessarabian branch.

Mykhailo Rizak, director of interaction with authorities and issues of sustainable development, spoke about future plans during a meeting with the U.S. ambassador. Embassy Kyiv Ukraine Bridget Brink and Director of the USAID Mission in Ukraine James Hope.

Rizak noted that now the branch’s record for shipment is 170,000 tons of grain per month, while its potential is much higher and reaches 300,000 tons.

For its implementation, the company is considering the possibility of building a full-fledged elevator on the site, designed for the simultaneous storage of 118.5 thousand tons of grain, and a modern mill with a capacity of 750 tons per day.

The mill, for example, will be able to work both for the needs of the domestic consumer in Ukraine and to serve the interests of the UN World Food Program food security mission.

“Now WFP uses the processing facilities of Turkey, sending Ukrainian grain there through the grain corridor. However, ready-made flour, bran and other grain processing products can also be transported from Ukraine. At the same time, the outlined prospects are significantly influenced by the state of the railway infrastructure in the region,” said Rizak.
