No oil products were found in the Dnipro near Kherson
Environmentalists took samples from the Dnipro in Kherson, which showed the absence of oil products in the water.
Samples were taken on June 14. For example, in the Dnipro, near the Antoniv railway bridge, an excess of the maximum permissible concentration of suspended solids by 1.44 times was recorded. The indicator is 36.0 mg/dm3. Also, the amount of total iron increased by 1.9 times, reported the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The rest of the indicators do not exceed the norm. Dissolved oxygen is 6.9 mg/dm3, with a norm of at least 4.00 mg/dm3.
No petroleum products were detected in the water.
The Regional Military Administartion reminded that it may be dangerous to use water from wells and open water in populated areas that were flooded. People are asked to boil and filter water, use bottled or delivered water.
Earlier, USM reported that in Kherson, rescuers are collecting an oil slick that leaked as a result of Russians blowing up the Kakhovska HPP. Water is taken from all wells on the territory of Kherson region. Fences are also carried out in the Dnieper estuary and on the Black Sea coast.
