Norway is strengthening the Ukrainian fleet, — Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Neizhpapa

The Commander of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, held a meeting with the Commander of the Joint Forces of Norway, Vice Admiral Rune Andersen.
The Commander of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
He noted that Norway makes a significant contribution to the development of the capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy. In particular, it provides critically important resources – from modern small boats and mine-clearing equipment to the education and training of the Ukrainian military.
“We discussed specific steps that will contribute to the further strengthening of our fleet. We have a common vision of what resources and technologies the Navy needs now and which will be decisive in the long term,” said Neizhpapa.
Separately, the parties focused on the security situation in the Azov-Black Sea region.
Earlier, USM reported that Neizhpapa discussed with allies in Paris the strengthening of the capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy.
