Norway will provide Ukraine with 130 boats
Norway will give Ukraine 130 inflatable boats, as well as weapons for the F-16.
This decision was announced by the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands, Bjorn Arild Gram, during a visit to Odesa.
The minister announced another package of military aid for Ukraine aimed at strengthening its air and sea forces.
In particular, this year Norway will hand over 130 inflatable boats, some of which have already arrived in Ukraine. As Gram explained, some of the boats were provided by the Armed Forces, while others were purchased on the civilian market.
In addition, necessary equipment for the military will be sent to Ukraine, which will in particular be used to train operators of small boats for river operations.
The aid will also include the supply of weapons and spare parts for F-16 fighter jets in the amount of NOK 1.3 billion, which will come through the American JUMPSTART mechanism.
Previously, USM reported that the operation of the Swedish Combat Boat 90 boats was shown in Defense Intelligence.
