Ukraine has published data on which countries imported the most Ukrainian grain in October.
Thus, Egypt became the main buyer of Ukrainian grain in October, Latifundist reports with reference to the State Enterprise “Institute “Ukraagropromproductivnist”.
From October 1 to 22, Ukraine shipped 410 thousand tons of wheat to Egypt (23.3% of the total value of grain exports).
In second place is Algeria (13.7% – 240.6 thousand tons of wheat), in third place is Turkey (9.1% – 159.4 thousand tons of barley and corn). Indonesia imported 7.7% – 135.9 thousand tons of wheat, Italy – 7% (122.2 thousand tons of corn).
The largest buyer of Ukrainian barley in October was Turkey — 30% (51.7 thousand tons, $229.2/ton), and corn — Italy (27.3% — 120.9 thousand tons, $206.6/ton).
Earlier, USM reported that eight ships with Ukrainian grain were stuck in Egyptian ports. This happened due to delays in opening letters of credit (bank guarantees of payment for the delivered grain) for the state buyer Mostakbal.
