Odesa port suspended shipments due to russian attacks

Attacks by russian troops on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure completely cut off power to critical infrastructure facilities.

As a result of the russian terror, the ports of Odesa and Pivdennyi could not carry out cargo operations. The port of Chornomorsk worked partially.

This was reported by the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine. Currently, the power supply is gradually being restored. Alternative power sources are also used.

“Pivdennyi Port and Chornomorsk carry out cargo operations. Port of Odesa, unfortunately, not yet,” said the head of SE “USPA”Oleksiy Vostrykov. He added that it is difficult to predict the situation, because Ukraine is dealing with an enemy for which there are no principles. As for exports, russia was hampering them even before the last attack, creating problems with inspections in the Bosphorus. The lack of energy supply will hamper Ukrainian exports even more, Vostrykov noted.
