Odesa Region could be attacked by Kalibrs from a submarine
Russian invaders could attack Odesa with Kalibr missiles from a submarine.
“The enemy attacked Odesa Region again. The attack was directed from the waters of the Black Sea. Most likely, with the use of Kalibrs from a submarine. Still, the Air Defense Forces did a great job: all four missiles aimed at Odesa were destroyed on their approach to the coast. Hits were not allowed,” noted the head of the joint press center of the Southern Defense Forces Nataliya Humenyuk.
She noted that launches from a submarine are difficult to detect, in particular, it is difficult to detect the launch of a missile.
Currently, according to her, there is one missile carrier on combat duty in the Black Sea, from which missiles were fired at Odesa Region at night and which will return to its base point. However, the day before, there was a rotation with a surface missile carrier, which is ready for use and can appear on duty within 2-3 hours.
