Odesa Regional State Administration: only “white” companies will be able to load grain at the ports

From now on, the loading of ships (barges) in the ports of Odesa will take place exclusively through a preliminary analysis of the legality of the origin of the grain.

“In this way, the Odesa Regional Military Administration strengthens discipline, accounting and reporting in the field of foreign economic activity in the conditions of the legal regime of martial law. The new mechanism of control over export products was worked out during the month by the Odesa Customs, the Main Department of the DPS in the Odesa region, as well as the Territorial Department of the BEB in the Odesa region,” said Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

He noted that legal businesses had and still have the opportunity to join the open memorandum of cooperation. This memorandum is mutual, voluntary and parity, to which 26 companies have already joined. Among them, in particular, UGA, Nibulon, UDS, Viterra, the ports of Reni, Chornomorsk and Izmail, USPA, etc.

Currently, the process of developing constructive changes to the mentioned order is underway in order to eliminate the burdens that arise for “white” exporters. In particular, the work continues with specialized Associations, say the Odesa Regional State Administration.
