Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Netherlands visited the Odesa Sea Port

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine also held a meeting with the leadership of the Odesa branch of the USPA.
This was reported by the Odesa Seaport Administration.
Head of the Department for Ukrainian Affairs of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Robert Dreisen, together with the Head of the Political Department of the Embassy Robertus Dekker, got acquainted with the work of the Odesa Seaport under martial law.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the current needs of the Odessa Seaport, prospects and directions of further cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands in the port industry.
“The guests were presented with the work of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, told about ensuring the sustainability of port infrastructure in the face of constant challenges, and also thanked European partners for solidarity and practical support to Ukraine in difficult times for the country,” the message says.
As a reminder, on March 30, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Odesa branch of the State Enterprise “USPA” and the largest port in Europe – the port of Rotterdam. As part of the implementation of the agreements, the Ukrainian side has already received the first technical assistance – power equipment to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the port infrastructure.
