Over 177 million tons of cargo were transported through the Ukrainian Maritime Corridor


Since the start of the sea corridor, 177.7 million tons of cargo have been transported along this route, of which 106.4 million tons are grain.

This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.

According to him, the products were exported to 55 countries around the world.

“177.7 million tons of cargo have been transported through the Ukrainian sea corridor, of which 106.4 million tons are grain,” the minister noted.

In addition, he added that Ukraine continues its integration into the European transport system.

“We are implementing the Mostyska-Sknyliv Eurorail project. The “visa-free transport” with the EU has been extended until 2027. An important project is e-TTN, this is a systemic change in the rules in freight transportation,” Oleksiy Kuleba said.

As previously reported by USM, Ukraine exported 5 million tons of agricultural products in February, 0.3% more than in the same period of the previous month.
