Photo of the day: combat divers training
Combat divers from the special forces have many successful operations behind enemy lines.
The shots were published by photographers Kostyantyn and Vlad Liberovy on Instagram.
The shooting took place in Odessa at the beginning of March. In the photo you can see the training of combat divers from the special forces unit.
“These are our elite troops who do extremely dangerous and completely non-public work, but, as a rule, very unpleasant and painful for the enemy. The boys have many successful operations behind enemy lines, and the boat, which we affectionately nicknamed the “dandelion” during training, is full of holes from enemy bullets,” the post reads.
Divers train to conduct special operations. The task is to swim a boat to a dangerous distance from the shore, attach a heavy mine to yourself, dive under the water and inconspicuously mine the shore. Then just as inconspicuously swim back to the boat and turn back.
“And yes, the sea water is still very cold even at the beginning of March, and many of the tasks they performed took place in the winter,” the photographers emphasized.
