Pletenchuk resigned from the post of spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces

Now the official will return to the duties of the spokesman of the Armed Forces Navy.

Dmytro Pletenchuk left the post of head of the Center for Strategic Communications and spokesperson of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine. He announced this on his Facebook page.

During the 45 days of the official’s work, 177 broadcasts, 15 briefings, 19 interviews and several staff reshuffles were held. Pletenchuk emphasized that he performed the function of “crisis manager” after the dismissal of Nataliya Humenyuk.

“This was planned from the beginning. Please do not look for any double meanings or “traitors”, Pletenchuk emphasized.

Next, Dmytro Pletenchuk will return to the duties of the spokesman of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It will be recalled that Pletenchuk was appointed head of the press center of the Southern Defense Forces on April 22. He replaced Nataliya Humenyuk, whose dismissal was demanded by journalists and media experts. Currently, Humenyuk has been transferred to a position not related to interaction with the mass media.
