Poland and Ukraine concluded an agreement on shipbuilding under a double class

Polish and Ukrainian shipping registers signed a joint agreement on dual class.
“The next step of cooperation between the Polish and Ukrainian Shipping Register. An agreement on a dual class was signed between the companies,” said Yevgenii Ignatenko, head of the Shipping Administration.
This agreement, in particular, makes it possible to build ships under a dual class — Polish and Ukrainian — and opens up new opportunities for the exchange of knowledge, experience and resources between the countries.
Earlier, a cooperation agreement was signed between the heads of the Shipping Register of Ukraine and the Polish Shipping Register. The Polish Shipping Register is a member of IACS and has extensive experience in conducting certification, scientific and technical developments, as well as standards in the shipbuilding industry.
