Poland has not made a decision on the construction of an oil pipeline from Ukraine
Poland has still not made a decision on the construction of an oil pipeline from Ukraine to the port of Gdansk.
The pipeline was supposed to transport edible oil from Jagodzin in the Volyn region to the port of Gdańsk. But the decision has not yet been made, reports Wnp.pl.
“Doubts of a legal and technical nature, as well as the circumstances surrounding the flow of other agri-food products from Ukraine have led to the fact that the decision on further work on the project has not yet been adopted,” the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said.
The department noted that last year Poland and Ukraine remained in working contact regarding the discussion of legal issues and technical possibilities of oil pipeline construction.
As previously reported by USM, in September 2022, Ukraine and Poland officially agreed to build a cross-border pipeline for the export of Ukrainian oil.
