Poland removed the list of grain importers from Ukraine from open access

The list of entities that imported so-called “technical grain” from Ukraine was removed from the website of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture.

The Ministry of Agriculture recalled that for several months, a list of companies importing grain from Ukraine was available on their website, which in public perception was considered a list of entities that imported the so-called technical grain. This led to negative consequences in many companies, writes  Interfax-Ukraine.

“I cannot turn back time or the decision of my predecessor, Minister Anna Gembicka, who, having made the list public, did not notice the possible harmful consequences of such actions,” said Czeslaw Sekerski, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland.

According to Sekerskyi, since the publication of the list, the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland has received many complaints, requests to make corrections and statements about lawsuits.

“This confirmed my belief that the decision to release the list was wrong and irresponsible. Therefore, I decided to remove this list from the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development,” explained the minister.

We will remind you that in November 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland published on its website a list of companies that imported grain from Ukraine in 2022-2023, which consisted of 62 pages.
