Poland will publish a list of companies that imported grain from Ukraine worth 1.4 billion euros
The Polish government promises to publish a list of companies that imported Ukrainian grain worth 6 billion zlotys (1.38 billion euros).
In Poland, a list of companies that imported Ukrainian grain was finally formed, RMF24 reports with reference to the statement of Deputy Minister of Agriculture Michal Kolodzejczak.
The agency is currently reviewing the legal basis for making the list public.
“We will find out this week the legal basis for publishing it and so that every Pole can see who made money when Polish farmers had a big problem,” commented the deputy minister.
He added that the information about the companies is “shocking” and indicates that 6 billion zlotys (1.38 billion euros) were paid for Ukrainian grain.
Kolodziejczak said that Polish companies imported 330,000 tons of technical grain, rape and corn. The cheapest wheat from Ukraine last year cost 51 zlotys per ton – 20 times less than the profit threshold for Polish grain.
