Poland will start checking all Ukrainian grain
Poland will begin mandatory inspection of all Ukrainian grain transiting through the country.
The current inspections of Ukrainian grain “deserve condemnation”, said Deputy Minister of Agriculture Michal Kolodzejczak, Agencja Prasowa reports.
He noted that he “does not trust any exporter or importer from abroad.” Therefore, from now on, all Ukrainian grain will be checked in Poland – both at land borders and in sea ports.
Kolodziejczak claims that there are situations when transit grain reaches Germany, but does not pass quality control, so “99% of the time it goes back to Poland” at European prices.
