Poland will strengthen the inspection of agricultural products on the border with Ukraine
Measures to strengthen inspections of Ukrainian agricultural products were announced due to allegedly excessive imports.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland Czeslaw Sekerskyi announced the strengthening of control and activation of inspections of Ukrainian agricultural products exported to the Republic, the Polish entity reported on the X network.
“Excessive imports of agricultural products from Ukraine, which do not meet EU production requirements, threaten the competitiveness of Polish agriculture,” the ministry said.

As part of the inspection of agricultural products from Ukraine, the minister visited the checkpoints “Medyka” and “Korchova”. He also met with representatives of the association of Polish farmers “Oszukana Wies”, which previously blocked the road near the checkpoint “Medyka-Shehyni”.
As previously reported by USM, at the beginning of February, Polish farmers announced a new blockade of the border with Ukraine.
