Polish farmers will organize another protest in Warsaw

Another protest by Polish farmers, who oppose the European “green course” and the “inflow” of Ukrainian agricultural products, will take place in Warsaw.

Farmers who protested against the EU’s “green course” in Warsaw on February 27 will again hold a rally on March 6, Tvn24  reports.

Between 30,000 and 50,000 farmers protested in Warsaw. They walked through the central streets of the capital and met with the Marshal of the Seimas Shimon Holovnaya and the head of the Chancellery of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland Jan Hrabets.

Later, the farmers said they were not satisfied with the results of the negotiations and were preparing to protest again in Warsaw on March 6.

According to the strikers, the Polish government promised to present some proposals on March 7.

Previously, USM reported that Poland is demanding 1.3 million zlotys in compensation from the protesters at the border.

It will be recalled that on February 20, protesters blocked the LHS tracks. Then the Poles dumped 4 tons of Ukrainian grain from the wagons.

The state-owned company noted that grain transportation on the LHS line accounts for only 1.72% of total traffic, and protesters blocked all traffic and prevented the arrival, departure, loading and unloading of a number of trains.

Previously, USM wrote that the first offenders who spilled Ukrainian grain from grain trucks on the border with Poland have already appeared in court.
