Polish police are investigating the incident with Ukrainian grain, which Polish protesters dumped from trucks onto the road.

Police in the city of Holm are investigating the details of the incident involving trucks with Ukrainian grain near the checkpoint in Dorohusk, Polskie Radio reports.

According to the police, farmers protesting nearby stopped three Ukrainian trucks and dumped grain on the road.

The details were reported by Eva Chizh from the Main Department of the city police in Kholm.

“After completing the documents, three trucks driven by Ukrainian citizens entered Poland. The protestors did not miss the transport and at some point the trailers opened, due to which the grain partially spilled onto the road. The drivers turned back towards Ukraine,” the policewoman said.

Law enforcement officers are investigating the details of the incident and seizing evidence in the city.
