Port “Pivdennyi” processed 56 thousand tons of cargo in February

In February 2023, SE Pivdennyi Sea Trade Port handled 56,000 tons of cargo.

“56,000 tons of cargo were processed by the staff of the SE “MTP Pivdennyi” in February 2023. 4 vessels were processed near the berths of the state stevedore. The main cargo is meal,” said the press service of the port.

Since the beginning of 2023, almost 130,000 tons of cargo have been processed. Currently, the company’s cargo turnover includes only agricultural products.

In total, since the beginning of the “Grain Initiative” implementation, 427,000 tons of Ukrainian food was loaded at the berths of the state stevedore “Pivdennyi”.

Transshipment of all types of cargo in the Pivdennyi port was carried out only until February 24, 2022. Since August, after the opening of the grain corridor, the state stevedore has been processing sunflower meal, barley, wheat, corn, seeds, etc.
