Port protection increased from 50% to 95%, – Odesa Regional Military Administration

During 2024-2025, the Odesa Regional Military Administration conducted an inspection of ports and increased the level of security from 50% to 95%.

This became known during the Ukrainian Transport Forum 2025.

As noted by the Deputy Head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Kropyva, a security inspection of ports and port facilities was organized. In particular, shortcomings were identified and eliminated, as well as increased security of critical infrastructure.

“Within the framework of international cooperation, foreign partners provided important equipment, including pilot boats, generators and booms. Also, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria created a mine-sweeping group in the Black Sea,” it was said during the presentation.

We will remind, on June 10, the Ukrainian Transport Forum 2025 was held in Odesa — a national platform for strategic dialogue between the state, business and industry leaders.
