Ports of Ukraine have already handled 80 million tons of cargo
In the period from January 1, 2024, the ports of Ukraine handled 80 million tons of cargo, of which 49.5 million tons were grain.
Despite the difficult conditions, the ports of Ukraine operate normally and ensure the stable operation of the sea corridor, reports the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
Since the beginning of the year, the ports of Great Odesa have handled 80 million tons of cargo, of which 49.5 million tons are grain, which supports the country’s important role as a guarantor of global food security.
“Smooth operation of ports and reliable functioning of the logistics corridor are of critical importance for the global food market. The organization of safe navigation and the protection of port infrastructure remain priority tasks in the face of constant threats,” the message reads.
