Ports received 807 thousand tons of agricultural products by rail since the beginning of December

For export in December 2023, 1 million 61 thousand tons of grain have already been transported by railway. Of them, 807 thousand 100 tons were sent to sea ports.

For 13 days of December, 1 million 48 thousand 300 tons of grain cargoes were loaded on the railway network of Ukraine, writes Rail.insider. 

In total, 1 million 61 thousand 500 tons were transported by railway for export in December. Of them:

• 807 thousand 100 tons — in the direction of sea ports;

• 254 thousand 400 tons — to the western border crossings.

The ports of Chornomorsk (327,400 tons) and Odesa (254,000 tons) are among the largest recipients of grain in export traffic.

Currently, the share of grain in the total load on the railway network has increased to 20.4%. A week ago, the figure was 18.4%.
