Prices for new crop corn have decreased in Ukrainian ports

The decrease in demand for feed corn in Ukrainian ports led to a price adjustment, after an active increase at the beginning of the week.
Since the beginning of this week, Ukrainian ports have been experiencing a decrease in demand prices for feed corn, after a previous active increase. This is reported by APK-Inform.
The main reason for such changes was a decrease in demand due to constantly high prices, which reduced the competitiveness of this crop in the market. At the same time, agricultural producers were reluctant to sell corn at reduced prices, hoping for a possible reversal of the situation. The downward price dynamics on foreign markets also exerted pressure on prices.
In particular, in the ports of Great Odessa and Danube, demand prices for feed corn decreased by an average of 2 USD/t, and as of March 26, 2025, the price options are 224-231 USD/t and 225-232 USD/t CPT-port, respectively.
Prices for new crop corn 2025 have also been adjusted. Demand for this product is recorded in the range of 198-205 USD/t CPT-port, which is 1-2 USD/t lower compared to the end of last week.
The day before, the head of the analytical center We Build Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov stated that the current system of port dues is ineffective.
