Prices for Ukrainian corn should be reduced to $188-190/t to enter new markets
According to the results of last week on the Ukrainian market, difficulties with exports limited the activity of traders in the ports of Great Odesa and the Danube.
Difficulties with exports limited the activity of traders in the ports, and on the western border prices fell to €185-188/t with loading into the Eurotrain. This is reported by Spike Brokers.
Despite the sharp rise in prices on the MATIF exchange, the physical corn market in Europe remains stable. Demand is mostly provided by domestic production and imports from Brazil and the USA.
According to Spike Brokers, under such conditions, in order to find new sales markets, Ukrainian exporters need to lower the price of corn to the level of $188-190/ton.
