Rare dry cargo ship “Virginia” is being sold for UAH 9 million

An offer to purchase the motor ship “Virginia” moored in the Kamiansky river port has appeared on the online classifieds platform. The regional media outlet “Pylnyi poglad” reports this.

The owner has valued the ship at 9 million hryvnias. According to the seller, the dry cargo ship, built in 1960, is 62.3 m long and 10 m wide. It is equipped with 6ChSP15/18 engines with a capacity of 220 kW. After the last docking, “Virginia” was not in operation.

The history of the ship’s voyages and the types of cargo it transported remain unknown. Despite this, the ad has already interested both shipping enthusiasts and potential investors.
