In the port of occupied Feodosia in the Crimea, the Russians stationed an amphibious ship, two minesweepers and several barges.
OSINT analyst MT Anderson published a satellite image of occupied Feodosia, which shows the water area of the port.
In the picture, you can see that the Russian occupiers have placed in the port at least one amphibious ship of the 1171 project, two minesweepers (one of which belongs to the Alexandrite project) and several barges with radar corner reflectors, Black Sea News writes.
“You can also see the dry cargo ship “Matros Pozynych”, which is known as the “thief of Ukrainian grain”. Previously, the occupiers carried out transshipment in Sevastopol,” the message says.
At the moment, boom barriers have been installed at the entrance to the harbor, trawlers perform the function of “water area protection ships”. In turn, the amphibious ship could deliver to Feodosia the cargo necessary for the logistics of the Russian army in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Barges with corner reflectors play the role of “false targets” in case of a possible attack by anti-ship missiles.
At the same time, Feodosia is located close to the Kerch Strait and the so-called “Crimean Bridge”. Therefore, this harbor is of strategic importance for the Russian military.
As previously reported by USM, the Azov Naval District is being created as part of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, the headquarters of which will be located in the occupied Mariupol.
