Reserving specialists at critical enterprises has been temporarily simplified

The government has temporarily accelerated the deadline for considering applications to one day, and the limit for resubmission has been canceled.
Until February 1, 2026, critical enterprises of Ukraine will be able to book their employees under an expedited procedure. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Digital Economy.
Applications will be processed within 24 hours instead of the current 72. The government has also canceled the restriction on resubmitting an application for cancellation. From now on, a new application can be sent immediately after the previous one is processed, without waiting five days.
“Many enterprises are currently expiring the terms of their employees’ deferrals. In order to avoid a situation where critical specialists lose their reservations due to procedural delays, we are temporarily simplifying the rules,” the Ministry of Digital Economy said in a statement.
The department emphasized that these simplifications will be valid only until the beginning of February next year, after which the standard processing times will return.
The Ministry of Digital Affairs is also working on introducing the possibility of submitting applications for reservation extensions in advance so that there is no gap between the current and new extensions.
The Cabinet of Ministers also previously allowed critical infrastructure enterprises to join the air defense system.
