River mines are nailed to the coast of Odesa after the terrorist attack on the hydroelectric power station

The current washed away mine-explosive barricades, which the occupiers had previously set up on the Dnipro, into the Black Sea.

As a result of the detonation of the dam of the Kakhovska hydroelectric power station, debris and river mines are carried by the current to the coast of Odesa.

“It also blew up the mine-explosive barrages that the occupiers had set up on the Dnieper and in the Kakhovskyi Reservoir. This can lead to the discharge of river mines along with the debris. They are not as visible as sea mines, so they pose a significant danger. Currently, a large number of mines are drifting in the water upstream,” the Southern Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine reports.

On the coast of Odesa, 6 mines of various modifications were found in 7 days, which were thrown away by the flood. The detonation of mines in the water was also recorded.
