Romania suggests Ukraine set naval drones to self-destruct if control is lost

The Romanian Ministry of Defense proposes that Ukrainian SeaBaby and Magura naval drones self-detonate at the border of territorial waters in case of loss of control.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense Romania, Radu Mariuta, in a television interview, writes Defense Romania.
The minister said that he proposed to contact the Ukrainian side with a request to program the naval drones in such a way that in case of loss of control over them, the coordinates of the drone would not allow it to enter Romanian territorial waters and it would self-destruct at a distance of 12 nautical miles.
He also added that this is a matter of programming and software.
The appeal is related to the fact that a few days ago a Ukrainian Seababy naval drone, control of which was lost, ended up in dock No. 78 of the port of Constanta, where it self-destructed a few hours later.
