Rosatom strengthens control over port and container logistics in the Russian Federation

The state corporation Rosatom has bought the remaining 51% of the logistics group Delo from its founder Sergey Shishkarev.
Previously, Rosatom owned 49% of Delo. The company is planned to be merged with other Rosatom transport assets, in particular FESCO, according to Reuters.
Rosatom said that on the basis of these assets they intend to create the largest network of railway, road and port terminals in Russia. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Delo is one of the largest container operators in the Russian Federation. The group owns sea and inland terminals, a container fleet with a capacity of over 220 thousand TEU and about 40 thousand railway platforms.
Delo also controls the KSK grain terminal in the port of Novorossiysk – the largest grain export terminal of the Russian Federation in the Black Sea, with a capacity of up to 10 million tons per year.
This summer, the work of KSK and other large Black Sea grain terminals was temporarily suspended due to drone attacks on port infrastructure.
Rosatom is also responsible for the development of the Northern Sea Route, which Russia defines as one of its strategic transport corridors.
Earlier, USM reported that Britain had imposed sanctions on 12 tankers carrying Russian oil.
