Rosneft’s sea exports continue to fall

The export of oil products of the Russian Federation by sea transport in May fell by another 14.7%.

The Russian Federation continues to lose sea oil exports for the second month in a row. This is attributed to the alleged “seasonal repair” of oil refineries and the growth of domestic demand for fuel.

Fuel exports through the Baltic ports of Primorsk, Vysotsk, St. Petersburg and Ust-Luga fell by 23.8% in May compared to the previous month to 4.8 million tons, Reuters reports.

The export of Rosneft through the ports of the Black and Azov Seas fell by 4.2% to 4.435 million tons from 4.48 million tons in April.

Shipments of petroleum products from the Far Eastern ports of the Russian Federation fell by 9% to 700,000 tons, compared to the volume of 743,800 tons in April.
