Russia attacked two civilian ships in the Odesa region: there are injuries

The Russians attacked two civilian ships in the Odesa region with attack drones. There are injuries.

The Russians attacked the Emmakris III and Captain Karam vessels, which were entering the port to load wheat. There are injuries among the civilians.

“Ports and civilian shipping are objects of civilian infrastructure. Attacks on them pose a threat to the lives of civilians and undermine global food security. Targeted attacks on civilian objects are a deliberate war crime. The Russian Federation is a terrorist country,” the Ukrainian Navy reminded.

Recall that the Emmakris III vessel was blocked in the port of Chornomorsk at the beginning of the full-scale war. In the summer of 2022, the vessel was arrested. Its registered owner is Greater Bloom Limited from the UAE, but in fact the vessel is owned by a Russian company registered in Rostov-on-Don. In June 2025, the ARMA announced that, together with the USPA, they had foiled an attempt to hijack the arrested Russian ship Emmakris III.
