Russia damaged more than a hundred objects in Ukrainian ports with shelling
Since July 18, as a result of Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports, 105 port infrastructure facilities have been damaged and partially destroyed.
The Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov told about it. According to him, as a result of the attacks on the ports of the Danube cluster and the blockade of sea ports, the export of grain cargoes to the countries of Asia, Africa and Europe was reduced by almost 3 million tons per month.
He also noted that the ports of the Danube cluster are currently the only waterway for Ukrainian agricultural exports.
“If it is not protected by powerful air defense systems, the consequences will be greater. First of all, for those countries that depend on Ukrainian agricultural products,” Kubrakov added.
The minister also mentioned the night shelling of Odesa ports. According to Kubrakov, despite the aggressor’s efforts to reduce the export potential, the ports continue to work. At the same time, every attack on the port infrastructure of Ukraine is an attack on the food security of the whole world.
“As a result of the impact, administrative buildings, warehouses for grain cargoes, oil storage containers and motor vehicles were damaged. Seven drivers were taken to the hospital in serious condition,” the minister informed.
