Russia fired over 10 Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea during a night attack

During a massive night attack on May 25, Russian troops launched more than 10 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea.
This was reported by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, on TV, reports Ukrinform.
“I can confirm that the Kalibrs were used. The Russians used more than 10 missiles. I warned viewers about this on the late night show yesterday,” he said.
According to Pletenchuk, submarines, which currently remain the only permanent carriers of cruise missiles in the Black Sea, could have been involved in the attack. In total, there are two such boats in the sea today.
“The situation is predictable. Periodically — once a month, maybe twice a month, unfortunately, they also use sea carriers,” he added.
The spokesman also emphasized that the Black Sea is in a so-called “gray zone” because it is under fire control from both sides. At the same time, Ukrainian forces control the surface situation, and Russian ships are not constantly there. However, Russian aircraft dominate the airspace over the sea.
We will remind, the day before, the invaders twice attacked the port infrastructure of the Odesa region.
