Russia has already attacked Ukrainian transport infrastructure 4,000 times
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February, the Russian invaders have launched more than 4,000 attacks on transport infrastructure facilities.
The Ministry of Infrastructure forms a list of infrastructure objects regarding the priority of their restoration. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Oleksandra Azarkhina, at a meeting with the Government Security Center of Poland and the Ministry of Transport of Poland, writes CTS.
“Poland is the main partner of Ukraine for the logistics of defense assistance to Ukraine. The issue of security of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure is also a direct interest of our neighbors,” Azarkhina said.
Next, a sectoral meeting at the level of relevant ministries and institutions of both countries is planned to determine ways to restore transport infrastructure.
Azarkhina also reminded that employees of the railway, road, river and sea transport, and postal workers risk their lives while performing their duties.
