Russia has launched large-scale naval exercises in four seas

The maneuvers involve more than 150 ships, 120 aircraft and 15,000 servicemen.

Russia is holding large-scale naval exercises from July 23 to 27. More than 150 ships and 120 aircraft are participating in the maneuvers, Reuters reports.

The exercises cover four regions — the Baltic and Caspian Seas, as well as the waters of the Pacific and Arctic Oceans. The Russians are practicing scenarios for repelling attacks by air assets, unmanned boats and drones, as well as strikes on simulated sea and land targets.

The exercises are led by the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Alexander Moiseyev.

It should be noted that despite the fact that Russia formally remains in the top three world navies in terms of the number of ships, the war against Ukraine has significantly undermined its naval potential.

In particular, the Black Sea Fleet suffered several devastating losses from attacks by Ukrainian drones and missiles.
