The head of the Russian government signed a decree, according to which a permanent border post is being created in the seaport for the passage of goods.

This indicates that the invaders plan to actively use the captured port, writes the Center for National Resistance.

According to available information, the process is supervised by the director of the enterprise Volodymyr Stelmachenko, who after the capture of the city voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the occupiers. After his appointment, he began to carry out the instructions of the Russian curators – he transferred all the property of the Ukrainian port “to the balance” of the occupation administration and organized a scheme for the export of Ukrainian grain to Russia. For this purpose, the vessels “Sormovsky-48” and ZHIBEK ZHOLY were used, which accompanied the warships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

“Currently, an atmosphere of coercion reigns in the port. Some employees are forced to go to work under the threat of dismissal or inspections by the FSB. Those who refused to cooperate are under constant pressure or have already left the territory. The workplaces are mostly staffed by specialists imported from Russia who do not have the appropriate experience, which is why the number of technical failures and accidents is increasing,” the Central Statistical Office notes.

According to the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, Petro Andryushchenko, the technical equipment work is being carried out by Rosgranstroy and should be completed by the end of 2026. The declared throughput capacity is approximately 4,800 crew members per year, more than 200 cargo vessels, and cargo turnover is about 1.5 million tons per year.

“In fact, this is an attempt to legalize the stolen port under the guise of the “state border of the Russian Federation.” Moscow is integrating occupied Berdyansk into its transport system, forming an official channel for the export of stolen Ukrainian grain, metal, and building materials — now under the banner of “legal cargo traffic,” Andryushchenko notes.

USM previously reported that the invaders are exporting stolen grain and raw materials from the ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk.
