Russia is preparing to remove another 88 wagons of stolen coal from the port of Mariupol


The Russian invaders continue to use the Mariupol port for the illegal export of Ukrainian resources.

The invaders are preparing to export another 88 wagons of Ukrainian coal through the Mariupol seaport. This was reported by the press service of the Mariupol City Council.

“The occupiers continue to export stolen coal through Mariupol. The arrival of 88 wagons to the port has been recorded,” the report says.

Since the occupation, the Mariupol seaport has become part of the Russian military logistics and a key tool for the economic robbery of Ukraine. Through it, the Russians export coal, grain, metal and other resources from the occupied territories.

In addition, the occupation administration plans to expand the port’s capacity. According to the city council, in 2025 the occupiers intend to put into operation 25 hydraulic structures, including 18 new berths, which will allow for an increase in the volume of the export of looted goods.

As USM reported, in early February, the Russians loaded a batch of coal onto a bulk carrier belonging to a company from the UAE in Mariupol. The ship with the stolen raw materials headed for Novorossiysk.
