Russia keeps missile carriers in the Black Sea, but there are not enough “Kalibrs” – Humenyuk
Russia has taken two missile carriers to the Black Sea. However, the enemy has exhausted its reserves of cruise missiles, so there are not enough “Kalibrs”.
As of the morning of February 19, there are 9 russian ships on combat duty in the Black Sea. Among them are two missile carriers, one surface-based, the other underwater, Nataliya Humenyuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, reported.
Currently, the total salvo can be 8 missiles. However, the occupiers have missile launchers at their bases.
“We observe the enemy’s lack of confidence in the number of missiles. “They are trying to bring supplies of “Kalibrs” to Sevastopol, because they are running out of them,” Humenyuk said.
According to her, although russia continues to produce new missiles, the speed of stockpile replenishment is not very intensive.
“This suggests that the speed of restocking is not as fast as they would like. However, we have seen the general assessment of experts that the number of “Kalibrs” they have remained at the level of about 20%. This is a critically low stock level. But we understand that they may use some additional missiles,” the spokeswoman warned.
