Russia presented the “Aurelia” system to protect against Ukrainian naval drones

“Aurelia” is planned to be installed near strategic facilities to create protective zones from sea drones and boats.
The Russian company “Rusich” has presented a modular barrier, which, according to the developers, should counter attacks by Ukrainian surface drones. This is reported by “Militarnyi”.
The system consists of 10-meter modules with a width of 3 meters, which include floating supports, connecting networks, anti-water jet elements and submersible anchors. Its action is that the active elements are sucked into the water jet or propeller engines of watercraft, disabling them.
Tests have already been carried out in the Gulf of Finland with the participation of the Russian Navy.
As a reminder, the Russians are trying to use various means of countering Ukrainian surface drones. Among them are boom barriers, Lancet strike UAVs and FPV drones, naval aviation of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and Raptor high-speed boats with machine gun armament.
Meanwhile, Neizhpapa discussed with allies in Paris the strengthening of the capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy.
