Russia resumes gas supplies to Italy

The russian monopolist “Gazprom” is resuming gas supplies through Austria to Italy.

“Gazprom” stated that, together with Italian buyers, “it was possible to find a solution regarding the format of interaction in the conditions of regulatory changes.”

The Austrian operator has announced its readiness to confirm the transport nominations of “Gazprom” Export LLC, which allows resuming the supply of russian gas through the territory of Austria, reports European Pravda.

Earlier, “Gazprom” stopped supplying gas to Italy due to “the impossibility of transporting gas through the territory of Austria.”
