Russia wants to restore Large Landing Craft “Minsk” after the Ukrainian attack


The Russians plan to restore the large landing ship “Minsk”, damaged as a result of the Ukrainian strike.

The restoration of the ship is planned to begin this year, “Militarnyi” reports  with reference to rosZMI.

According to the source of one of the publications, the ship is now standing near the quay wall, its superstructure is damaged. The decision to start repairs has already been made.

There is information that the Russians are considering the possibility of repairing the Large Landing Craft “Minsk” by using the superstructure of the stolen Ukrainian Large Landing Craft “Kostyantyn Olshansky”, which is identical in design to the Russian ship.

We will remind you that on September 13, 2023, the Russian Large Landing Craft  “Minsk” and the submarine “Rostov-on-Don”, from which the invaderss launched missiles across Ukraine, were hit by a ship repair plant in Sevastopol.

On September 14, Russia announced that five unmanned boats tried to attack the Black Sea Fleet patrol ship “Serhiy Kotov” at sea.
